Dear Friends, Patrons, and Business Owners:
First I would like to thank our loyal partners, friends and donors for all your ongoing support, which you have shown with your attendance, volunteer work, and fiscal sponsorship of Theaters of Vision Production’s (TOVP) philanthropic live theater productions, events and outreaches. Your contributions have been such a blessing to so many worthy philanthropic causes that have benefited by your show of benevolence. We value this ongoing relationship and humbly honor your willing involvement and participation.
On behalf of the Ambassador Foundation (HRCAF), and Theaters of Vision Productions (TOVP), we are proud to present Harry Who?, featuring the toe tapping, nostalgic rhythms of Harry Warren, performed by the Theaters of Vision All Star Community Orchestra (TOVASCO) and a large and talented cast. This live stage production will take place at the magnificent Ambassador Auditorium on Saturday, April 24, 2010. There will be 2 performances on that date, a 2:00 PM matinee and an 8:00 PM evening performance.
With over 800 published songs and several academy awards, Harry Warren music has been heard throughout the world and many of the great songs we all love today are his creation. Such songs as At Last, Serenade in Blue, I Found a Million Dollar Baby, Don’t Give Up the Ship, Stanley Steamer, 42nd Street, Shuffle Off to Buffalo, You must Have been a Beautiful Baby, We’re in the Money, Jeepers Creepers, Chattanooga Choo Choo, For a Buck and a Quarter a Day, I only Have Eyes for You, and many more. And all written for the great classic films produced by Paramount , MGM, Fox and Warners during the 30’s & 40’s.
What an era!!!! In the elegant, art deco ambience clad with white gloves, top hats and tails and against a backdrop of major historic events in Pasadena during that era, our orchestra and cast will perform many of Harry’s award winning numbers to the arrangements of Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and Benny Goodman to name a few. They will take you on a journey, highlighting classic films, the war years and famous Hollywood personalities.
This event is an outreach to the San Gabriel Valley Community. The TOVASCO Orchestra will be featured on stage in true big band style. The talented musicians are from high schools and colleges all over the San Gabriel Valley and Pasadena area. A portion of the production proceeds will go to benefit the participating High School and College Orchestra / Music Departments.
The HRC Ambassador Foundation has been in Pasadena since May 14, 2004, providing a magnificent venue, the Ambassador Auditorium, for orchestras and the performing arts over the last 5 years. The auditorium is known as “ The Carnegie Hall of the West”. Their portion of the net proceeds, will support and benefit it’s ongoing building fund for maintenance and reparation, so that this wonderful venue will be available to Pasadena as a landmark performing arts theatre for many years to come.
But we can’t do it without your help! That’s why we are asking you to sponsor this event and support these great outreach causes in the following ways:
Make a tax deductible donation as a sponsor

Together, we can maximize your donation and help sustain these important programs and services for orchestra / music departments in high schools and colleges through out the San Gabriel Valley, in our own community, and we can support the maintenance and up keep of the landmark Pasadena venue where the performing arts and live stage production can continue to flourish into the future. If you have any questions, please contact me at (626) 831-0520 or email to ltlridl@aol.com.
Supporting our local talent with a professional performing experience, giving back to the orchestra / music departments of the participating schools and colleges, providing a beautiful venue in which to perform, and reaching out into the community with a spectacular show, is what we are all about! Please join us and many other organizations in the Pasadena area, to provide opportunities for the advancement and enhancement of the performing arts. Thank you from the Ambassador Foundation and Theaters of Vision Productions!
